 PEORIA
- Adis Wilidean Ryals Roeske, age 79, of Peoria passed away Monday, Nov. 20,
2006, at 2:10 a.m. at Riverview Manor in East Peoria.
She was born Dec. 2, 1926, in
Philadelphia, Miss., to Charlie J. and Ludye (Manning) Ryals.
She married Roy E. Roeske on Dec. 24, 1966, in Bartonville. He
passed away Dec. 24, 1999, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by
two brothers and one grandson.
She is survived by two sons,
Clarence R. (Barb) Jones of Hopedale and Alex E. (Becky) Jones
of Metamora; two granddaughters, Laura (Joe) Kelley of
Washington and Bobbie (Nick) VanMeter of Washburn; six
great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jean (Junior) Nowell of
Mississippi.
Adis worked at Caterpillar Inc.
for 25 years, retiring in 1983.
Funeral services will be
Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland
Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the
services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in
Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
